2010 TEMAS Fundraiser "Car Raffle" Official Rules
Drawing to be held by the TEMAS on December 18, 2010 @ 1:30 p.m.

A. PRIZE
1. The 1992 Red 500SL as is will be provided to the winner of the car raffle with an estimated Blue Book value approximately $10,800. Sales tax, title, vehicle license, registration and other usual fees associated with the purchase of a new vehicle are not included. The prize will be awarded through one random drawing from qualifying raffle ticket stubs at The Educational Martial Arts System, Inc's (hereby known as TEMAS) office, which will take place on November 1, 2010 with the vehicle awarded through a live drawing.
2. WINNING CHANCES. A maximum of 1,500 tickets will be sold. Each ticket represents one chance to win. You may enter as many times as you like. Chances of winning depend on the number of eligible tickets sold. If 1,500 tickets are sold, your chance of winning is 1 in 1,500.
IMPORTANT NOTE: In the event that 501-1,000 tickets are sold, a cash prize of $2,000 will be paid to the winner. In the event that 201-500 tickets are sold, a cash prize of $1,000 will be paid to the winner. In the event that less than 200 or less tickets are sold, a cash prize of $500 will be paid to the winner. In the event that the winner does not qualify or respond to his or her winner notification within the time allotment (seven days), an alternate will be drawn from all entries and alerted by mail or phone.

B. HOW TO PARTICIPATE
1. Raffle tickets are sold by TEMAS.
2. Tickets are $20 per raffle ticket, 3 for $50 and 7 for $100.
3. There is no limit to the number of tickets that an individual can purchase.
4. The entire raffle ticket must be completed legibly in print.
5. Ticket purchaser must be over 18 to enter the raffle.
6. Raffle is void where prohibited.
7. Winner need not be present to win.

C. ELIGIBILITY
1. Each entrant, by entering the Car Raffle, agrees to abide by all of the rules and conditions contained herein, as well as all applicable local, state and federal laws and regulations, and further agrees to release TEMAS and its directors, officers, agents and employees from any and all liability with respect to all aspects of the raffle, including but not limited to, the selection process. The Car Raffle is subject to all applicable laws and is void where prohibited or otherwise restricted by applicable law. Persons entering the raffle are solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations in any way relating to their entry, or entries whether based upon their place of residence or otherwise.
2. Raffle ticket purchasers must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license, can provide valid proof of auto insurance prior to delivery of vehicle, and purchase tickets at $50 each, $50 for 3 or $100 for 7. Purchasers release their names to the fundraiser. The TEMAS reserves the right in its sole discretion to determine the validity of the entries. Also, as noted on the ticket, by its purchase, the ticket purchaser agrees to the live telecast of his or her name during and after the live drawing and releases TEMAS., all sponsors, and any other parties associated with TEMAS and the raffle harmless against any liability, loss, or damage (including attorney's fees and costs) caused by or arising from the telecast/broadcast of their name or appearance on any materials or media promotions associated with Car Raffle.
3. Employees of TEMAS, their spouses and dependents as well as agents and prize suppliers and their spouses and dependents are not eligible to participate in the Car Raffle.
4. All entries become the property of TEMAS, and will not be returned.

D. GENERAL RULES
1. Car Raffle ticket sales begin on September 3, 2010 and end on December 18, 2010 unless sold out before that date.
2. Selection of the winner will be by a random drawing conducted by an appointee of The Educational Martial Arts System, Inc's office, which will take place on DECEMBER 18, 2010 at 1:30 PM.
3. Winner is responsible for reporting and paying property taxes, tariffs, fees in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws with respect to the prize received.
4. Winner is responsible for pick-up and delivery of the vehicle at the direction of TEMAS and any costs associated with pick-up and delivery.
5. The TEMAS reserves the right to interpret and/or modify contest rules at any time at its discretion. All decisions made are final.
6. The prize is not transferable, may not be substituted for any reason, and may not be exchanged for cash equivalence.
7. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for TEMAS to use the winner's name and/or likeness for promotional purposes (broadcast, telecast, or written material) without additional compensation, except where prohibited.
8. Winner, by accepting the prize, releases and discharges the donors and TEMAS and agents for the donors and TEMAS, from any and all liability arising out of or in connection with this contest or the use of the prize.
9. THE VEHICLE IS BEING TRANSFERRED "AS IS," AND TEMAS GIVES NO EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
